I got my new camera on July 08th of this year after the Casio stopped working. There was a lens error and it wouldn't extend. I tried all the methods listed on camera repair sites and purchased a new battery but nothing worked. Sadness. The Nikon has exceptional zoom but I need to find a camera that takes sharp pictures in low light situations because I tend to use it most during concerts/events. Maybe there's a setting I could change it to...I haven't really looked into it. In regards to the new phone, the first picture is dated July 20th and it is equipped with FLASH, even though the shots with it on don't really turn out that great.

While selecting photos, I've realized that I have been using my cell phone more often, especially during the New York trip. It was more convenient, and New York isn't necessarily a scenic state that required better megapixels or zoom for magnificent shots.

Just a minor update: Over the weekend, my friends and I visited the outlet stores in San Marcos. I walked into the Coach store and saw this cute camera case that I couldn't resist! It keeps my camera nice and snug inside.

I purchased my new camera last year and have since retired Froggie because he’s really worn out. My mother fixed the tear in his leaf, and he’s been in the washing machine a few times. I hate having to put him through so much torture. This camera is bulkier than my last one, and it would be convenient to have something to store it in, but I haven’t found anything that would fit it snugly and offer a little bit of protection at the same time (just in case I manage to drop it). Froggie was stuffed, so he was a great protector, and I dropped that last camera more times than I could remember. He also had that strap that made him so easy to carry around. I miss traveling with him.

I’m currently searching for a new camera. The one I have is so outdated…I can’t clean the spot that appears in the upper-left of a lot of my photos and the zoom is a mere 3x optical compared to the newer 5x and even 10x that is available on the market now. What I’m eyeing is the Casio EX-H10. I’ve had my Casio for so long and it’s so reliable and easy to use that I don’t know if I want to venture to another brand, even after reading many reviews of how well Panasonics perform. What I love most about the Casio cameras are the sleek design and extensive battery life. I’m currently reading this review. I’ll probably search Best Buy and other local retail stores before making the purchase. Wish me luck!

Also, Froggie experienced a tear in his leaf (from Las Vegas)! It’s now separated from his head. I can’t believe I let that happen to him, but my sister said that she will repair him! Hopefully, he’ll be as good as new for my next trip! I was tempted to buy another plush to replace him, but it’s hard to find any…Plus, I can’t do that to him. He’s my one and only!
